4 those who just don't undestand; SP = Service Pack, which means that the original OS requires a patch 4 security of the OS. Just like AVPs need 2 update virus signatures regularly, hackers update their progs. If U R on XP Pro OEM (& often XP Home OEM) & U want 2 upgrade 2 XP Pro SP3, U R not changing your OS, U R upgrading the critical files. Share the torrent if U will & burn 2 disc, but try running the XP SP3 Distributable (is an "upgrade") first from MS before U format & lose all progs.

When dealing with torrents U leech when DLing & seed when ULing. While DLing most torrents, U can UL at the same time (unless the said torrent is set 2 "initial seed"). When the ratio reaches 300% or 3.000 U have seeded 300% of the original file... or given back 2 the community 3 times what U took. A tracker watches your ratio, a public tracker can B seen a private tracker is hard 2 join... easier if U have excellent ratio because it shows you're 4 real. ALWAYS scan all* DLed files, regardless

Windows XP Pro is better than XP Home because you can better repair XP Pro & you have easier access 2 Administrator account (XP Home U have 2 boot 2 Safe Mode 4 Admin). Vista sucks, too many defects out of the box, but both are designed off the Linux kernel system... which you don't pay for cause it's "Open source", hence how BG was able to use them for his own greed.

AFAIK, there is no 1-click "save my programs & all related files/reg entries to disc" prog out there yet... but there is ability to slipstream. The SP3 Distributable DL on Microshafts site can B used as an upgrade from SP2 2 SP3. I just did it myself; All programs retained. If it's an update-able disc, it'll say so in the beginning, prior to formatting. Chose that & all is well. If you want formatting AFAIK you're SOL 4 now, sorry. Google w/minimal keywords, maybe something has been programmed

Copyrights? Try educating yourself. It isn't illegal 2 copy a "distributable" SP1/2/3 disc or even create 1. U can create an Installation Disc from Recovery Discs when understood how 2 SLIPSTREAM, which MS explains on their site, how 2 slipstream SP1/2/3 2 a Windows XP Installation Disc. Some college students R even given a Windows Installation Disc 4 their PC/notebook, where an educational key is like a corporate key. Grab your key from your system with keyfinder and using it to change this 1!

All torrents aren't illegal. I agree IrateBay sucks... almost as bad as Limewire. No Administrative skills & way 2 many infected files.Google "Slipstream XP" find microsoft link & "Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder" find download. It will show as hacking tool because it is. You'll* B the poser* hacker when using it 2 pull MS keys from your legit copy of XP, save them on paper & dig in the registry 4 keys 4 other progs. Always back up drivers 2 disc B4 reformatting. I use DBAN to zero fill format.
