Yes it should just update but if you want to get rid of this prerealse version just go to add/remove programs it should be in there.

now that the official sp3 for xp is out...is it possible to get out of the beta or will my computer automatically do it because my version says Service Pack 3, v.3244 is this actualy sp3?

I installed SP3 on my professional computer and had a bunch of problems, specifically that I couldn't connect to the internet anymore, with all the latest drivers and everything, so I uninstalled it and have been happy with sp2

Theres a few bugs in sp3 my friend has been having some problems with it but nothin to serious. It works for some, and not soo good for others.

i got sp3 yesterday it was horrible, it was buggy because when i try to delete or move a file it wouldnt move or delete. its also slow and i had to system restore back sp2. make sure your system restore is on before you install it.
