maybe your pc isn't compatible with service pack3, all my friends and all of my cousins is using service pack 3 except the laptop, and i think the most crappy update is windows vista! vista sucks on games!

I agree with Moij1, Im having problems also but this happened after installing SP2...I can install anything or View Pictures...I dont know what to do.

LOL! everyone i know that is running xp ( just about everyone i know ) has installed SP3 without a problem...

the same thing happen to me when i install sp3 i have to reinstall windows xp . and i lost all my movies, music , games ,pic , lot of thing , that day i wanna cry lol , and i dont know why is that cuz i got a laptop and i install sp3 and it work perfect the internet was faster it was very nice , i quest it work on some computers .. people sorry for my bad English i know is bad lol

I bought GTA ..Nice $50 game. Once Installed I try to launch it and it gives me a fatal error saying I need indows Service Pack 3. Of course when I try to install it, it gives me continuous restarts and I had to boot in safe mode just to recover to before I installed SP3. So I can't play my new game..What a waste of money.

a while after installing it like i think it is a virus. if i go to a search site like yahoo or google and type something, links come up as normal but the link it wrong and instead of taking me to the site it is supposed to go to, it takes me to some strange search site never heard of.

its just you, sp3 on my computer is perfect, it improved my fps on some games.

When I installed this Windows Service Pack 3, my internet connection has become VERY slow.Usually when I right click on a page and click "Open Page in New Window", it only takes a mili second to pop up.But since installing this, it takes at least 4 seconds!!! Anyone know why?
