MythTV (witch is Linux only) it beats any other kind of home Media PC software out there makes Windows Media Center look outdated and you can even use MythTV to stream content to things like the PS3 and transcode on the fly and anything Jave based runs up 2 15% faster in Linux than on windows (that is Ubuntu 8.04 VS Vista) and games that Run on Windows witch you can get for Linux always have better grapics on lower system specs than on windows and Linux needs less system specs to run

I don't understand your argument, what does Valve porting games to Linux have to do with Linux being a good OS?99% of the people that I have met that use Linux do it because they think it makes them hackers (spending 5 minutes doing what Windows does in one click, writing cute shell scripts, navigating everything in terminal) and this is not only pathetic but also absurd.Name one rational reason why _anybody_ would use Linux.

yeah but Linux has been doing most of what you see in Vista for 10 years now Vista is a pure joke only thing going for it is DX10 and if Linux was that bad why is one of the bigest PC games companys Valve looking for people who can port windows games to Linux just look at there site you will find it

Hi Mikko,awesome video! really interesting and to the point. As for the F-Secure software I just watched "F-Secure Internet Security 2009 Review." from mrizos on youtube(check it out if you haven't seen it) and my question is how can F-Secure prevail with such uneffective software?:(

arranmc anyone who knows shit about OS architecture knows that Windows is light-years beyond Linux in almost every respect, and as for the "not using a root account" and "Linux telling you when a script runs" wow, sounds exactly like Vista... except poorly written, and packed full of BOF exploits.Honestly go to zone-h and watch the thousands of brand new fully-patched Linux boxes that get hacked everyday.

if any kind of Script is run on any of my Linux boxes it will tell me as i have set it up that and most Distros like OpenSUSE & Ubuntu are bulding this in to there distro and any noob that runs Linux as root user is stupid and i know people who do cus there to lasy to keep entering there password

Linux is even more insecure if you have no idea what you are even doing with it. Linux are mainly server's or mail gateways. Lonux machines get scanned out in a few seconds when a 0day is leaked by script kiddies, youd be surprised. But yes windows is shity.

Very true ifox. You cannot blame Anti-Virus companys. They do there best, and are very anoying to us. They do pretect you, you just don't apreciate the fact it's easy for us to keep away from antivirus huristic detetions. They spend 24/7 adding new strings to there virus databases to keep you stupid faggots pretected. No av is worser then the other.
