Do you need to wash the shirts before printing them?

It does indeed. Thankyou. One other question... they seem to use the emulsion stuff in white light so it doesn't need to be used in a dark-room? Also does it stain... they are using it in the bath. Will it stain the bath?

for all the products how much would it cost?what ink works best?and when you get the shirts what is better..thick shirts or thinner?
bripod238 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
the emulsion that gets hit by the light gets altered and made less soluble in water... kinda baking it onto the fabric. The emulsion that is masked by the image is still soluble and rinses off the screen... allowing the ink to go through... onto the shirt... hope this helps...
Tanru2000 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
So how does the emulsion create the image? Do the dark areas stop the emulsion from 'drying' - so it washes off the screen with the hose? Is that what is happening?
