Their policies were horrible yes, but if you were smart enough you could get free months. I think we paid for probably 2/3 of our time with aol. Seriously we would call and say we couldn't afford it anymore so we wanted to cancel and depending on who we were talking to they would give us a free month. Then we would wait a while and do it again. Eventually we switched to DSL and then it became a problem.

there just pushing company policy, grunts in the trenches. But, the news won't focus on a "then massive" contributing sister company. As far fetched as this idea seems..... I'll add to this drunken comment with this.. Lone gunman logic. It's easier to pluck a poisoned apple rather then pluck a poisoned tree. But that's totally off track

ok, what nobody is looking at is that the guy was probably on probation to start with and had some manager's foot up his butt to be certain that he didn't lose any customers for the company. he was behaving as anyone would who was being measured that way.go after his manager, then him. then maybe you can tell me how to get dish network to stop trying to get me to cancel my time/warner account, too... do THEY EVER give up? not in my experience...
